Reflections from the forest!

As I sit among the roots of the trees up here on Killiney Hill this morning. I sense their stillness, their strength and their endurance. In the distance I can hear the banging and clanking of building work going on. We humans determined to stamp our mark on this world with our concrete expensive buildings. Taking away and destroying all that Mother Earth provides us with.

But the trees that are left still stand, their branches still dancing among the breeze. Their trunks still rooted into the healing heart of Mother earth providing oxegen for us humans to live even though we are slowly destroying them. 

It shows the unconditional love and kindness that Mother Earth has for us, the unwavering forgiveness that she has given to humanity for centuries. Think of the all the destruction we have caused to her, forgotten cities left in ruins, plastic in her waters, killing all woodland and animals to make way for our cities, roads and houses. 

Like a child who is not used to being loved, we have blocked and created walls around our heart from hers. 

Its time we accept her unwaivering love, it is time we open our heart and let her kindness in and send it back out into the world, for she is hurting! Mother Earth is hurting and without her, humanity will perish. This change starts with you! A small act of kindness to each other is the ripple effect that will vibrate around the world. It starts with each and everyone of us.

What are you going to do today to help spread this love, your magic out into the world? Its as simple as holding a door out for a stranger as you walk by, or simply reaching out to lend a hand to a neighbour...small acts, create big ripples.
